Next major tournaments for Team Lovato….


Team Lovato’s next tournament will be at the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation American Nationals. Students from white to brown belt from Lovato’s School of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA will be going to the Nationals. Other Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu Association school’s instructors and students will also be competing there. This year, Nationals is extra special because this year, Nationals is also the Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu annual tournament. This will be the biggest Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu Team formed for an IBJJF tournament.

Another major tournament will be happening on the same week of the Nationals, which is the ADCC. Lovato’s School of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA ‘s head instructor, Rafael Lovato Jr., and assistant instructor, Justin Rader, will be competing in the ADCC. The ADCC is the Olympics of submission grappling. This year, the ADCC is going to be hosted in the United Kingdom. Both Rafael Lovato Jr. and Justin Rader have been invited, indicating that they are both considered to be within the top sixteen competitors in the world in the sport of NoGi Submission Grappling – and they train in Oklahoma City!
